You will receive one of these beautiful mystic blue kyanite blades shards from Minas Gerais, Brazil.  These shards are 1.5 to 2 inches long.  These mystic kyanite blades are hard to find due to high demand.  These fan shaped clusters of kyanite, also known as bird’s wing kyanite are made of natural Brazilian black kyanite that has been bonded with dichroic metal titanium ions to make an iridescent blue, turquoise, and purple peacock finish.  These blades are peacock titanium bonded on both sides, although you will see some of the natural black kyanite on some edges and inside crannies.  These rainbow kyanite blades really sparkle and shine especially brightly when in the sun but the camera can’t fully capture their beautiful reflection and flash.   Bird wing kyanite is great for wirewrap, jewelry, art, and craft projects.  Despite their delicate appearance, they are actually quite sturdy.  Photos are stock photos showing typical kyanite pieces.  The word ‘kyanite’ comes from the Greek word kuanos or kyanos, meaning “deep blue.”  Kyanite is said to be the stone of communication and to aid with the throat chakra.
