Description

These Pacific Spiny Starfish, ARCHASTER TYPICUS, are sometimes also called sand star or sand sifting star.  These have been dyed red. They are approximately .5″-1″ wide each. Last 2 photos show how many are in a 1/2 ounce package (approx 175 starfish).  Not suitable for use in aquariums, these specimens should be kept dry. These specimens have been professionally dried, cleaned, and sanitized and may have a slight dried shrimp type smell when held close to the nose that will fade with time. These are natural items and some specimens may have a chip off of a corner or some damage. These specimens have been legally and sustainably harvested.
