Each bead has a little bit of sparkle caused by super tiny quartz crystals known as ‘drusy’ or ‘druzy.’   These beads are 10 mm wide or about 1/2 inch. Not all are perfectly round and a few have small flat spots or saw marks in the stone as well as the indentations that contain the drusy quartz points.  These mystic blue aura crystals are hard to find due to high demand.  They are made of natural stone and druzy quartz crystals that have been bonded with dichroic metal titanium ions to make an iridescent rainbow finish.   These rainbow aura beads are great for bead stringing, jewelry, art, and other craft projects.  Despite their delicate appearance, they are actually quite sturdy.  Aura quartz is said to aid creativity, by both removing blockages to creativity and enhancing creative powers, and to stimulate the 3rd eye.  Photos are sample photos showing typical beads.
