Description
These green knobby urchins, sometimes called stone urchins, vary in color with a generally green color and some tan and cream white highlights. They are about 3/4 to 1 1/4 inches wide and the shell is hard to the touch. They are more sturdy than many urchins, especially considering their smaller size. They are ring shaped with a hole on both top and bottom but a few of them may still have a partial or full cap on one of the center holes. For those who don’t like the center cap, it can easily be poked out with a stick or pencil. Photos are stock photos, you may not receive these exact green knobby sea urchins but ones very similar. Each one is a little bit different and unique. These shell specimens have been legally and sustainably harvested. Out of country buyers I am sorry but due to US export law, I cannot ship wildlife product out of the United States.
