You get THREE of these beautiful Sagra Festiva dried beetles from Asia, packed together in a 3 pack. These are A1 quality (top quality) specimens packaged on cardboard for easy transport. The beetle are about 1 long and they are dried stiff in with legs mostly tucked underneath. We do our best to maintain quality but the legs and antenna on these are delicate and may break off in shipping or when opening the package. These beetles are a striking bright iridescent color range of of red, green, blue, or orange color. The coloration in these beetles varies greatly between individuals and is structural which means microscopic variations in the surface skin of the beetle alter the reflection of light. Structural color is more stable and will not fade unlike regular pigment colors. Structural color is often responsible for the more bright and intense types of natural creature colors (another example is peacock feathers). These beetles are natural items with natural variations so each has a slightly different coloration and size. Photos are stock photos, you may not receive these exact specimens but ones very similar.

Most of my insects come from insect farms around the world where the natural environment is preserved to incubate these beautiful specimens and provide a safe renewable industry for native populations. All insects are collected legally and sustainably with all required import permits and regulations properly followed. Out of country buyers my apologies but due to US export law, I am not able to ship insects out of country.
