These natural polished pearlized Turbo Chrysostomus shells are sometimes called gold mouth turban shells. Choose package size to right of photos. These shells are approximately 1 3/4 inch to 2 inches long with mouth opening sizes of about 3/4 inch to 7/8 inch. These shells have been polished or ‘pearlized’ so that the outer surface of the shell has been polished off revealing the inner shiny pearlescent white nacre underneath. Inside is a bright golden yellow and outside is a more subtle gold yellow with a white shiny smooth pearly white color. Each is a little bit different and unique in color and pattern. Turbo shells are natural items and some may have minor imperfections.  Photos are stock photos, you will not receive these exact shells but ones very similar.  Turbo shells are also very popular for many types of hermit crab shelters.  All shells have been legally and sustainably harvested.
