These emu feathers have been tie dyed in speckled patterns of brown, yellow ochre and autumn orange.  Feathers are 5 to 10 inches in length and sometimes longer but the average length will be 6 to 8 inches. Emu feathers naturally fall from the bird in pairs so that many feathers will be naturally attached at the tip in pairs.  These feathers are professionally colored with top of the line dyes made specifically for feathers in order to improve color saturation and resist fading. Feathers are also heat resistant and can be gently washed, blow dried, curled, and flat ironed.  Link beads come in black, dark brown, medium brown, and blonde color options.
