Description

Emu feathers have become a popular hair ornamentation and can be left in hair for many weeks.  Feathers are attached using small link beads. (If you are unsure how to attach your feathers, consider purchasing one of our full kits which also comes with instructions and tools.)  Feathers are 5 to 10 inches in length and sometimes longer but the average length will be 6 to 8 inches. Emu feathers naturally fall from the bird in pairs so many feathers will be naturally attached at the tip in pairs.  These feathers are professionally colored with top of the line dyes made specifically for feathers in order to improve color saturation and resist fading. Feathers are also heat resistant and can be gently washed, blow dried, curled, and flat ironed.  Link beads come in black, dark brown, medium brown, and blonde color options.  Feathers available in the following colors: natural (a silvery grey color), yellow, green, teal (greenish blue), turquoise, dark blue, purple, red, pink, brown, and orange.
