Description
These are real antler tips tines made into wall mounted hooks or pegs. The antler tips are 4 to 6 inches long and are all from naturally shed antlers from American deer. Deer shed their antlers naturally each year. During the year, their antlers are sometimes treated roughly and many will have minor imperfections, especially near the ends. These antler tips have been fitted with a screw for use as a wall mounted hook and can be used for hanging jewelry, keys, dog leashes, belts, ties, coats, hats, guns, bows, tools, etc. Coat racks and gun racks are two very popular uses. Antler tines provide a natural rustic woodland look to kitchens, entryways, bedrooms, cabins, lodges, etc. Photos are stock photos showing typical antler tips. Foreign customers, my apologies but due to US export law, we are unable to ship wildlife product out of country.
To Install: These hooks should be screwed into a solid surface like wood or a wall stud. For drywall, hardware stores carry plugs that can help stabilize the wall to to take screws, but if you don’t screw into solid material, you will want to avoid hanging large amounts of weight on the hook. To screw into solid wall materials, drill a smaller pilot hole first using a hand drill or sturdy dremel tool. Before screwing, orient the antler to the direction you want it to finish at, and then start screwing it into the pilot hole. We have found that if we begin the antler tip at the desired orientation, it will more often fit easily and snugly in that same orientation when we finish screwing it in. Now enjoy your new antler tip wall hooks!
